Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Collins is a Mexican American Sportscaster. She works for ESPN as a SportsCenter anchor for news. The first time she worked for ESPN in 2016. She's the daughter of TV reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is a native speaker of two languages. Since she was nine, Collins's ability to communicate in two languages helped her get an employment in Miami as an assistant producer for Univision. In her position, she had the opportunity to collaborate with national program producers like Nuestra Belleza Latina. Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. Her next assignment was a Sports Reporter at The CBS St. Petersburg Affiliate. After 2009, the news reporter relocated into Rio Grande Valley Texas where she worked for KNVO TV 48 Univision as well as Fox2 News. Reporting on stories on drugs and immigration issues from both sides of the Mexico-Texas border, she was an anchor for KNVO TV 48, the Spanish channel KNVO TV48 at 5 pm, as a reporter for news on English until 9pm, after which she became a news anchor until 10pm, before returning on the Spanish channel. She also filled in for sports anchors and weather forecasters. Deportes 23 was Univision Dallas affiliate, where she was able to take on additional responsibilities. She did pieces on the Major League Baseball's ALDS ALCS and World Series the Dallas Cowboys the NBA postseason and the NBA Finals FC Dallas and the Dallas Stars. In addition she was also the host and produced Univision 23's Accion Deportiva Extra local sports show. She was promoted to anchor the sports segment on Despierta America Deportes' morning show. She worked in the same role on Primer Impacto on UniMas Network and Contacto Deportivo for its magazine show. Antonietta's parents were originally native to Veracruz Mexico. The girl was born on November 22nd on the 22nd of October, 1984 in Mexico City. She is younger than her sister. There is an older sibling. In 1992, her parents separated then shortly thereafter in 1995 she remarried Fabio Fajardo who was an engineer in the naval sector who passed away in the year 2006 due to kidney cancer. She stayed with her family in Canton Ohio with her older sister during the summer in which she was given a job. Antonietta still a senior at high school but she knew exactly what career path she wanted. So while assessing if Mount Union is the right choice for her Antonietta decided to go visit the university. In the end, she loved the school and the university offered the major she was looking for. Following her graduation from high school, she decided to attend the University with a major in Media Studies. She developed a long-lasting relationship with her instructor Mark Bergmann who was the director at WRMU 91.1 FM, a station of which she was a part. He encouraged her to have confidence and his enthusiasm for journalism deeply influenced her. She, was determined to meet the expectations of him and not let him down.
