Azita Ghanizada

Azita A. Ghanizada (born in Afghanistan) is an Afghan American Actress in the United States. She has participated in numerous TV programs. The family she was born into fled Afghanistan and seeking refuge in the US. The actress was born in the US. She is the middle of of two siblings and was brought up within Northern Virginia. Her career on air began with a string of National Commercials. In the Laura Neri film A Kiss on the Nose (2004) Ghanizada portrayed the main character in Chiara a performance for which she was awarded the film festival's best actress nomination. Television guest-starring roles include How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars the Wedding Bells NUMB3RS bones Psych and Castle. Most recently, she played a supporting role in the science-fiction action film Blood Shot (2009) and the independent comedies You Only Better (2009). In 2008 Ghanizada was added to the cast of The General Hospital prime-time spin-off General Hospital. For season two of Nightshift she played holistic specialist Dr. Saira Bastra. Ghanizada appeared as Kelly who was the Prada girl in HBO's Entourage.
